Al Hardy is the Lead Pastor at CityChurch. He was pursuing a successful career working in the City of London with Unilever when he bumped into God. He left his job and spent the next 6 years in rehab... working with homeless drug addicts in London. Matt Hemsley is the Associate Pastor at CityChurch. He worked in TV and Video production for 12 years, while developing his church skills as one of the worship leaders at our parent church, St Mary's, London. He is currently training at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. When he has a spare moment, he loves to write and hang out with his wife Kim and their three lovely daughters, Beth, Frances and Lucy.

Esther is the church administrator & pastor's assistant. Born and raised in Virginia, Esther has lived in Chicago, LA and Omaha, only to settle back in the Southeast. Aside from organizing, her passions include: meeting new people, social justice, recycled art/photography, speaking Spanish and swimming. Mostly when she thinks about Jesus she is amazed at his radical approach to life -- really, who lives like that?

Dave heads up the Youth Department. He's a big man from California, with a big heart. He needs to be, with a wife and five daughters. When he's not hanging out with his girls, you'll find him fishing or shooting something. But you won't find a safer pair of hands to leave your youth with.

Michelle is in charge of the Zoom Club at City Church (0-4 yrs) and also runs our Moms and Toddlers group, Peas and Carrots. She was born in Oklahoma and has been in love with Jesus for 17 yrs, her husband, Matthew for 5 yrs, and her 'freakishly gorgeous daughter' Cadence for 1 yr. She says she loves to read and say something stupid when handed a microphone.

Kim Hemsley leads New ID for women with eating disorders, and Specialist Women's Ministry at CityChurch. She was an actress for many years touring all over the UK. She gave it all up to keep Matt her husband on the straight and narrow. She is a great singer and has three daughters, Beth, Frances and Lucy.
